Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg community knew that they would not return to the past. Ashley was just 17 years old and never had a boyfriend, so they took it slow. Love was evident at the first sight. Andrew prayed on New Year's Eve, right before the new year began in 2016, praying that God would give him the last blessing of this year. Then, Ashley would be his bride. Ashley was determined to create the perfect wedding that had a rustic woodsy theme, which could truly reflect her as well as Andrew. Their wedding day consisted of everything they loved. Ashley grew on 40 acres which were selected as their venue. Ashley was familiar with the whole area, having walked through it and had a game on the land. Andrew and Ashley had also walked in this spot several times since they started dating. Personalization became important since almost every aspect involved the DIY of the bride and groom. Andrew and Ashley's father built their seating area as well as the arch for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decorations. The wedding wouldn't have been as magical and romantic I had imagined it would if it wasn't for Anna's incredible floral designs.
